Catherine was born in the Dominican Republic and spent her early childhood between her hometown of Santo Domingo, and San Francisco, California, where she began performing on stage through school productions and performing arts spaces like MCCLA.

Moving to The Bronx, New York, at the age of 12, she continued performing throughout her young adulthood, taking a break to pursue a career in social work, and then returning to the theater in 2023’s Earth to Venus. She has enjoyed working on stage and screen since, shifting between both whenever possible. When not performing, she’s a licensed mental health therapist (LCSW) and coach in private practice, an organizational consultant, and an adjunct professor. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work.

Catherine’s recent projects include the HULU mini-series “Diddy On Trial: As It Happened”, in which she portrayed Dawn Richards, and the NYTF stage production of “In The Minutes Before I Leave”. Catherine is seen featured in seasons 7 and 8 of FBI, and works regularly behind the scenes as additional crew, standing-in and doubling for leads, series regulars, and recurring guest-stars in shows like Elsbeth, Law and Order: SVU, and Sweet Magnolias. These opportunities keep her engaged with the intricacies of film and TV production, allowing her to play and practice in the process.
