Catherine was born in the Dominican Republic and spent her early childhood between her hometown of Santo Domingo, and San Francisco, California, where she began performing on stage through school productions and performing arts spaces like MCCLA.

Moving to The Bronx, New York, at the age of 12, she continued performing and training throughout her young adulthood, taking a break to pursue a career in social work, and then returning to the theater in 2023’s Earth to Venus. She has enjoyed working on stage and screen since, shifting between both worlds as much as possible. When not performing, she’s a licensed mental health therapist (LCSW) in private practice, a coach, and an adjunct professor. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work.

Catherine’s recent major projects include portraying Dawn Richard in the HULU Documentary “Diddy On Trial: As It Happened”; other independent projects like the NYTF stage production of “In The Minutes Before I Leave”, and the film Deseos. Catherine is seen featured in seasons 7 and 8 of FBI as a core FBI Agent in the JOC, and also works behind the scenes as additional crew, standing-in and doubling for leads, series regulars, and recurring guest-stars in shows like Elsbeth, Law and Order: SVU, and Sweet Magnolias. These opportunities have allowed her to continue learning directly on set, enjoying every chance to play and practice.
